What we collect, why, and for how long
Contact form. When you write to us through the form we receive your name, e-mail address, organisation, the topic you chose and your message. We use them to answer you and, if you ask about Varpnir or an engagement, to follow up. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering an enquiry you made, and, for early-access requests, the steps you ask us to take before a contract. Form entries are deleted 24 months after the last exchange.
E-mail. If you e-mail us directly, we keep the correspondence while the matter is open and for 24 months after it. Correspondence that leads to an engagement or a licence is kept for the duration of the relationship and the period Danish bookkeeping law requires.
No cookies, no trackers
We measure how the site is used with Umami, which we host on our own server inside the EU. It records page views, referrers and approximate device type, sets no cookies, stores no personal data and does not follow you across other websites. That is why this site shows no cookie banner. Google Search Console gives us aggregated statistics about the searches that led here, never about individual visitors.
The site is hosted in Denmark. Fonts are served from our own site, not from a third-party font service, and we load no advertising, social-media or tracking scripts.
Your rights
You can ask what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and receive a copy of it. Write to gna@gna-tech.com. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet, at datatilsynet.dk.
We update this policy when the way the site works changes.
